So you are ready to make the big purchase. You have finally found the home you have been looking for in the DFW area and you want to feel confident about your decision. Whether you are a first time buyer or you have been down this road before, it is now time to hire your home inspector. The home inspection may not be the most significant cost in the home buying process, but it definately can be the most important. You want a home inspector on your side that will take an unbiased and pragmatic look at your potential investment. A Brownie Stonecipher Inspection is an in-depth visual inspection of the structure and major systems of the home. Your home inspection will take 2 to 3 hours depending on the size of the home to ensure that there are no post purchase suprises. My job as a home inspector is analogous to that of an MD finding something wrong with their patient, and then recommending a specialist if one is needed. If the home has issues that need to be handled prior to the sale I will be able to let you know what needs to be done and by whom.
You will receive a comprehensive property inspection report that details the visible major or minor deficiencies of the home. Your report will detail any deficiencies and concerns as well as have clear pictures of the issues being described. Your report will also let you know what expenditures may need to be budgeted for in the future.
